Ana Chavez is a Miami-based multidisciplinary artist working across collage, performance, photography, and sculpture. Chavez's practice explores her desire and identity in its many forms: queer, creative, physical, and emotional. Her collages make space for what is often felt but left unspoken.
She has received Ecuador's GRAFFF14 Contemporary Art Residency and has been invited as an artivist to the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics (HEMI) Encuentros in Chile, Canada, and Los Angeles. She holds a B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design and an M.A. in Performance Studies from NYU.
