Sheherazade Thenard
(2023-2025)
Leveraging her time at collaboARTive, Sheherazade secured an Oolite Arts Studio with stipend, won three presitgious residencies (London, California, Florida) and received five grants, including the Miami-Dade County Miami Individual Artist Grant (MIA).
Lila Lopez
(2024 to present)
Through dedicated studio practice, Lila developed her transformative Gigantes series—work that turns pain into empowerment as strength emerges from fragility. She received a one-week artist residency in Sarasota, FL plus gallery representation in Coconut Grove, FL.
Debra Spurgeon
(2023 to present)
After dedicated studio practice at collaboARTive, Debra achieved a breakthrough by being accepted to the prestigious Miami Watercolor Society Annual Exhibition — and has created a dedicated collector base through a partnership with a local retail store.
