About the Artist

Khánh Nguyên Hoàng Vũ [goes by just: Vũ] (pronouns they/he/anh/em) is a queer/trans multidisciplinary artist from Vietnam who currently lives and works in South/Miami Florida. Through their work, Vũ explores the role that community and spirituality play in helping trans/queer individuals navigate through societal challenges. Their practice is a manifestation of their belief in the freedom of movement, a luxury, so it seems under the structures that form our reality. Vũ's points of departure are migration, grief, spirituality, and particularly the bridge between the material and the unseen world.
