Marg Haza

ARTIST BIO

Marg Haza (b. 1990, Miami, Florida) is a Dominican-American emerging artist based in Miami. Her work explores self-discovery through touch, intimacy, and cultural reawakening. Drawing from her Dominican and Middle Eastern heritage, she reflects on hybrid identity, personal memory, and the emotional process of healing.

Working primarily in oil and acrylic, Haza is also deeply inspired by her ancestors, incorporating weaving, embroidery, and textile elements to bring a grounding, tactile energy to her practice. Her work carries a diasporic sensibility, navigating cultural distance, familial ties, and inherited nostalgia.

Haza’s work has been exhibited at Art Wynwood (2024) and in multiple group exhibitions with Coloursenses Project, as well as other group shows across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Dallas.
