Lila Lopez ( LILO ) is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Miami, Fl. A native of Nicaragua, her works are frequently influenced by the political turbulence of her homeland. A devout environmentalist, she often incorporates e-waste in her works in a striking examination of the destruction of the natural world caused by the global digital transformation. LiLO works in painting, mixed media, collage, sculpture, lithography and digital. Each piece is full of vibrant colors, creativity and emotions that blend realism and fantasy. Her works have been exhibited at Oolite Arts, Peekaboo Studios and The Hilton Hotel Aventura.
