Join artist Jennifer Suarez at CollaboARTIVE on Saturday, December 6th for a Sketchbook Binding Workshop! You’ll be creating your own custom sketchbook, choosing paper types that best support the media you love working with. My hope is that you make something you’ll actually want to use often, because there’s such a special boost that comes from consistently creating in something you made yourself. This process takes patience and focus, but you can do hard things, and this one’s worth it. You’ll leave with not just a finished sketchbook, but a renewed sense of connection to your creative practice. Spots are limited! All materials and light bites included!

Jennifer Suarez, a Colombian-American art therapist based in Miami. She works full-time with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, supporting students through creative and therapeutic expression — and leads community workshops that bring art therapy principles to the wider public. Through a wide-range of artistic media, Jennifer creates spaces where people can slow down, connect with themselves, and explore emotion through making.
