Noche de Arte October Special: Dancing Shoes - A Legacy in Motion
Join us for a spectacular October at Noche de Arte as we honor the Queen of Salsa with "Dancing Shoes: A Legacy in Motion" - a special exhibition celebrating Celia Cruz's centennial and Hispanic Heritage Month. This month-long celebration transforms Gallery 100 into a dynamic cultural tribute while maintaining all the creative magic you love about our weekly gatherings.
What Makes October Special: Experience original cantilever-style shoes designed by Mexican designer Nieto (1960s-70s) and worn by Celia Cruz throughout her legendary career, presented in collaboration with the Celia Cruz Foundation and curated by Luis Valenzuela, founder of the MIAMI Shoe Museum. Plus, discover the five winning designs from the MIAMI Vibes 2.0: AI Footwear Design Challenge, where global designers reimagined Celia's iconic style through AI-assisted creativity.
Your Noche de Arte Experience Continues: Every Monday, 6:00-8:00 PM, enjoy our signature blend of live art-making, rotating resident artists, postcard collages, and Toro Toro light bites - now enhanced by this extraordinary exhibition backdrop. Whether you're a longtime Noche regular or joining us for the first time, October offers the perfect fusion of our established community programming with this once-in-a-lifetime cultural celebration.
