Downtown Miami's Creative Hub
Every Monday 6-8 PM
Join our welcoming creative space in the InterContinental Miami's Gallery Lounge. Watch local artists at work, create your own postcard collages, and enjoy light bites. Each month showcases a new resident artist, making art accessible to everyone in the heart of downtown.
About the Artist:
Dan Ramirez, born in Miami, Florida, in 1972 to Cuban immigrant parents, discovered his passion for the arts at a young age while attending Auburndale Elementary. Inspired by a simple art project, he began creating mixed-media works. After studying at New World School of the Arts, he worked as a gallery assistant at Fredrick Snitzer’s Gallery, where he learned about art installation and gained valuable experience. Influenced by a range of talented Cuban artists, Ramirez credits various mentors throughout his artistic journey, including teachers and family members, for cultivating his creativity and passion for art.
Noche de Arte is open to the public and free to attend. collaboARTive presents this program in partnership with Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, InterContinental Miami Hotel, Miami Downtown Development Authority, and Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs. Sponsored in part by the State of Florida through the Division of Arts and Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts.
