Painting with Light Workshop
The Painting with Light Workshop teaches the captivating art of long exposure photography, where participants use light sources like flashes, LED strips, and colored cellophane to create luminous trails and ethereal effects during extended camera exposures.
The workshop covers essential techniques including manual camera settings, exposure calculations, and light manipulation methods such as writing with light, creating geometric patterns, and selectively illuminating subjects. Participants learn to balance ambient light with their painted elements to craft unique, dreamlike photographs that transform ordinary scenes into magical, glowing artworks.
Presented in partnership with collaboARTive’s Noche de Arte program, the workshop will take place in Gallery 100 of Intercontinental Miami Hotel, providing an inspiring creative environment for this hands-on photography experience.
This workshop is part of the activities of September exhibition "The Invisible Borders-Lines" by PVR Visual Artist.
