Your work deserves to be seen—and supported. This two-part Studio to Success workshop is designed to help artists promote exhibition openings and studio events with clarity, confidence, and follow-through.

Instead of leaving with “good ideas,” you’ll leave with a plan—and materials you can actually use.

Led by Jean Blackwell Font of Font Squared, we’ll cover end-to-end event marketing for artists, from venue selection to post-event follow-up, with an emphasis on building collector relationships and earning media coverage.

Part 1: Event Marketing Training (Hybrid)

In this session, we’ll focus on the strategy and structure behind successful openings and events.

Learning objectives include:

  • Plan and execute successful exhibition openings

  • Develop media outreach strategies

  • Create compelling event marketing materials

  • Build community partnerships for promotion

Part 2: Hands-On Event Planning Workshop (Hybrid + Included)

Saturday, March 14, 2026 | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM (ET)
Based on what we learn in February, this hands-on session is where you’ll build your plan and start creating your promotional assets.

Activities include:

  • Plan upcoming exhibitions or studio events

  • Create marketing timelines and checklists

  • Design promotional materials

  • Practice media pitch development
