Debra Spurgeon

ARTIST BIO

Born in Detroit, Debra Spurgeon attended the University of Michigan Fine Arts and The Flint Institute of Art School. Mediums are Glass flame works, stained glass, watercolor and acrylic painting.

The Flint Institute of Art Museum exhibited her watercolor paintings in the Student/Faculty Gallery in 2021 and 2022. Her “Iris” watercolor painting was used in the Art School Catalog in 2021.

Debra recently relocated from Michigan to Miami with her husband Ken to be closer to family. She is a member of the Miami Watercolor Societ and was recently included in the 2025 Miami Watercolor Society Exhibition.
