collaboARTive, Inc. is offering 3 subsidized studio residencies through The Creative Community Residency. Selected artists will receive a reduced studio rate of $300/month (standard rate: $450/month) for 12 months. Studios are approximately 110 sq ft, include utilities and 24/7 access, and are offered month-to-month.

  • Spaces vary, but generally measure around 10" x 8'-6" (roughly 100 sq. ft.)

  • Benefits include free parking, inclusion on our website, A/C, art reference library, a shared kitchen and bathroom.

  • Studio access includes:

    • 24 hour access

    • wi-fi

    • electricity & water

  • Opportunity to reapply for a second year of residency.

We offer inclusion in our marketing efforts, workshops, and monthly Art Walk events.  We are located in a warm and inviting community of visual artists who enjoy sharing ideas and inspirations with each other.

collaboARTive Creative Community Residency

Purpose

This residency supports artists who demonstrate both merit (active artistic practice and impact) and financial need, while fostering a creative community where artists thrive economically and artistically—strengthening our local cultural landscape.

Residency expectations 

We keep this residency flexible. There are no required studio hours. Residents are expected to:

  • Steward their studio responsibly and follow collaboARTive’s studio guidelines

  • Contribute positively to a collaborative environment

  • Participate in at least one community touchpoint during the year (example options: open studio moment, artist talk, workshop support, Creative Community Night, or another mutually agreed contribution)
